Job Description: Sales associate, working in the store in a full time or part time sales position. Assist in all store opening and closing procedures. Must be an outgoing personality and have a real desire to work with people. Must have some current knowledge of home and car entertainment products and be willing to learn on a continuous basis. Need to be able to provide the customer with a complete demonstration of the products he or she is searching for. Sales presentations, writing price quotes, follow up emails and phone calls are required. Daily task: Beginning and ending day paper work reconciliation, and handling of money. Perform regular maintenance to product displays regularly arrange and merchandise products, along with general organization of the store front and work stations. Reporting: You would report directly to the store manager. Goals of position: The primary goal of this position is to be completely knowledgeable in all current home and car audio / video products. Be able to recognize a customer’s needs, perform accurate and decisive demonstration resulting in a High sales closing ratio. Full Time Sales Position: We are open Monday through Saturday from 9 am until 6pm. This is a five day work week with one floating day off during the Monday thru Saturday period. You’re expected to report on or before 8.45 am and are ready to work for 9:am and work until 6:pm. Starting Compensation for full time Sales positions: Overall Guaranteed salary of $600.00 paid Bi weekly, combined with a set 6% sales commission on all products sold. Bonuses for exceptional performance and additional cash pay (spiffs) for specific products sold. Average full time sales earn $30,000.00 to $50,000.00 per year. Part Time Sales Position: We are open Monday through Saturday from 9 am until 6pm. Part time employees work three full days per week. Starting Compensation for part time Sales positions: $9.00 per hour or 6% sales commission whichever is highest for that pay period. Average part time sales earn $15,000.00 to $25,000.00 per year. Work Conditions: This is a fast paced active job handling walk in customers, answering phone calls, all while doing each days regular task. Must be able to be on your feet most of the day and there is little to no heavy lifting required. Desired start date: Immediate Qualifications: Must have some back ground experiences with consumer electronics like Car Stereo, Mobile Video, Navigation, Home wired and wireless audio products, TV’s and accessories. A Car Audio or Home Audio Enthusiast is preferred. Level of required education: Must have a valid high school diploma, some technical training or higher is not mandatory but preferred. Computer programs: knowledge of current computer programs required. Transportation: Must have good reliable transportation.
