Hello please read all info posted. I need to find a home for my beautiful blue crown conure. She is a one person bird as most conures are. Her age is unknown. I purchased her 2.5 years ago from someone else off of craigslist. Her name is Paulie. She's very attached to me as I am with her. Unfortunately I have had a schedule change and sometimes I only get to see her when she's asleep. I no longer have the proper time to enrich her life. That's just not fair to her. She's the largest breed of conure. Super vocal, super talkative. "hi" "whatcha doin" "love u" "step up" "pretty bird" and more. She blows kisses, she absolutely LOVES to sing and LOVES music. Yes she screams, so unfortunately no apartment would be suitable for how loud conures can get. She will dance and sing even if she doesn't know the words Lol She's a great bird. LOVES TO CUDDLE. Once she gets to know you of course. She will need time to adjust obviously. Looking for someone with parrot experience who actually understands the time and acclimation needed for parrots. She can fly but not very great. I've never encouraged the flying. She's use to getting her wings, beak and nails trimmed. She LOVES car rides. Once she's bonded with you, she absolutely will be your right hand. I ask that the new potential owners sign a contract to return if it does not workout. I also would like to see your ID to make sure the name matches the signature. She doesn't get along with other birds (typical for most conures). She takes better to women. Loves to be pet, loves to snuggle. She will 100% sleep in your bed with you. She does not poop all over the place either. She holds it until you put her back in her cage. She's a truly amazing soul with a huge personality. My heart is breaking even writing this. She will come with her nice good size cage, toys, food, bowls, perches etc. Her rehoming fee is five hundred which is firm. This particular breed of conure is not super common these days. Can you purchase one? Absolutely. It will run you anywhere from 1500k-3k depending on where you are in the world. The Finch farm has them for 2100 before tax. Please be educated on the care and time birds need to have a happy life. They're not low maintenance or anything of the sort. Please tell me about your home, schedule, family, other birds etc. If any of this is too difficult for you, then please do not reply. I will be screening and asking several questions to ensure she gets the best match possible with her new home. Thank you
