Currently seeking a Supply Chain Planner for a large Aerospace company located in Pasadena CA. Ideal candidate will perform an array of functions that may include inventory control, data analysis and metrics reporting, procurement, sales order management, and vendor/manufacturer relations. ResponsibilitiesCreate processes and methods to gather supply chain data from ERP systems and external sources.Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and report metrics related to overall operations.Work with vendors and manufacturers to identify next generation models and EOL tracking for current generation.Analyze inventory levels, manufacturer and vendor lead times, product demand, and drive S&OP process through collaboration with multiple company departments and regional teams.Works closely with the business unit to understand customer requirements and forecastsUtilize Supply Chain tools and processes to make data-driven decisionsUtilize Lean methodologies to improve service, inventory turns, and non-working inventory Qualifications3-5 years’ experience in Supply Chain or Distribution Management capacityProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsMicrosoft Excel is a must Proficient with Oracle ERP is preferred Volt is an equal opportunity employer
