RV Chassis Welding

Description

Looking for an experienced welder to do some chassis reinforcements on a 1986 Winnebago RV. We are upgrading the rear suspension and would like to reinforce the leaf spring mounts and other suspension mounting points, reinforce existing spot welds, add bracing under floor pans, and add a rear trailer hitch. This chassis is an older lightweight chassis so some of the chassis points are relatively thin steel. Someone had previously been in there with a heavy hand and blew holes through some areas, so a experienced mig welder who knows how to work with a variety of automotive/rv chassis situations is required. No newbies trying to test or upgrade their skills, this is not a practice session, sorry this just needs to be done right the first time. The rv is currently sitting up on jackstands and the frame is completely stripped bare of all drivetrain and suspension front and rear. The chassis will be pressure washed to get all the misc dirt and debris removed. The chassis is relatively clean with very little to no rust. Please arrange to take a look at it, give your suggestions and drop a quote for your services. You will be working with experienced mechanic on-site that will make sure you have what you need to get the job done. Located near the 150/33 intersection north of Nordoff High School in Ojai.
