We are seeking a Skilled Laborer wanted for a construction and maintenance company with preferably 8+ years experience in the construction and/or maintenance field. We perform everything from home remodels to deck construction to general maintenance and handyman services. Work ethic is very important! Promptness, friendly attitude, neat appearance and excellent communication skills with clients and fellow workers is key. Must be comfortable working alone and as a team. Our ideal candidates would be an individual who takes initiative to get things done and stay busy without being micromanaged. Responsibilities Cleaning and preparing construction sites Loading and unloading materials and equipment Building and taking down scaffolding and temporary structures Digging trenches, compacting earth and backfilling holes Operating and tending machinery and heavy equipment Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties Applicant should have experience and knowledge in: -Proven experience as construction worker -Carpentry -Plumbing -Electrical -Tile installation -Painting -Drywall Installation/Repairs -Knowledge of mixing and pouring construction material (concrete, sand, grout etc.) -Knowledge of basic engineering and construction principles and methods -Able to work in a team MUST HAVE ALL OF THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: 8+ years of experience (if less than 8, resume must reflect your experience) Driver's License and SSN (Work Permits are okay) Must have great communication skills. Must be organized and maintain a clean work environment.
