Skid Steer and Wheel Loader Operator

We are a well established landscape materials producer and organic recycling plant in East Parker County and are looking for a motivated individual for the position of a Skid steer / Wheel Loader operator. Job Responsibilities: • Safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment • Maintaining of material stock piles, screening sand and/or topsoil, loading materials into customers' trucks. • Perform other miscellaneous activities as required in surface mining. • Pre-and post-shift equipment check and perform light service/maintenance work and repair activities Work Hours: 8 hours per day with option for overtime, M-F with occasional Saturdays Skills Required: • Self-starter, highly motivated, and able to complete projects with limited or no direct supervision once trained • Desire to improve processes and efficiency throughout the operation • Communication in English, Spanish is a plus Helpful job skills include active listening, ability to work without continuous supervision, good critical thinking skills, knowledge of earth materials, good communication skills, and ability to problem-solve. Job Requirements: • Driver’s license, good driving record • High school diploma or equivalent • Ability and experience to operate: wheel loader (John Deere 644), tractor, skid steer (Kubota SSV65) • Must have reliable transportation to and from work • Ability and willingness to work outdoors. Must be willing to work outside, team player, and trustworthy.
