Nearly 3 year old female Cane Corso to re-home. Some background info: 1)She is very protective of our household. Since we have two elementary school aged kids it is a challenge to see that she doesn’t slip out of the door when our kids are running in and out of the house with their neighborhood friends. 2)She does not like people she does not know and is territorial when it comes to strangers. 3)My wife has been working from home and will be returning to work in an office setting shortly. Trusting that our children or babysitter will see to it that she stays inside, just doesn’t seem like a solid plan. She is a phenomenal family dog. She has never shown any aggression toward us or our kids. She lives in a home with children, another dog, and two cats. She is athletic and loves to go on runs, walks, and car rides. She is an exceptional partner for hiking, backpacking, kayaking, camping. She his completely house trained She understands “sit, lay down, go to your bed, get in your crate, give me paw and speak. She loves treats and always has a toy in her mouth. She warms up to females more quickly than men. She is a lovable, energetic, fun loving goofball What we are searching for is, naturally, someone who will treat her as good or better than we do, while understanding the responsibility of caring for a challenging personality.
