Trash Collection Route Driver - Part Time - Tuesday and Thursday to start - Move to full time if we enjoy working together - 6:30am - 4:30pm - Drive light duty truck (do not need CDL License) - Use app on cell phone for map and pickup locations - $20/hr - health/dental/eye medical insurance after 90 days - retirement benefits / 401k after 1 year - we show up on time and work hard - drive to pickup location --> collect trash bags from trash cans --> drive to next location using app for directions --> collect trash bags from trash cans --> repeat until route is complete --> drive to county dump to empty garbage truck --> refuel truck --> return garbage truck to company yard - ***one truck has tipper for trash cans to be lifted and dumped into truck and truck has hydraulics to empty at the dump --- one truck requires the garbage man to grab trash bags from can and toss into truck bed and then empty by hand at the dump *** garbage man will drive both trucks from time to time *** - To start you would ride with one of our current drivers to learn how it works. Then you'll drive with them in the passenger seat so they can offer support as you continue to learn. You will then drive your own truck and service your own route alone.
