We are currently seeking a full-time, year-round, Painter Apprentice. No prior professional painting experience is required. As a growing company, we would like to welcome a painter apprentice, as the newest members of our team. • Job requirements include; individual to be 18 years or older and a have valid driver's license. • Job benefits include; 401K retirement plan, paid time off (vacation, holiday & personal), profit sharing and employer contributed healthcare. • Ideal candidates shall be team oriented, self-motivated and mindful of job site safety. Duties & Tasks: o Sand and prep, new and existing surfaces for paint and other finishes. o Cover and protect surfaces as needed. o With direction apply paint, stain, poly and other finishes in a proper manner. o Taping, mudding, and sanding drywall patches and small areas. o General clean up & disposal of material on job sites and assist in the final cleaning and jobsite closeout. o Under supervision, performs demolition work. o Assist in completing punch list on projects, reporting process to supervisor. o Actively puts forward an effort to learn about different finishing products and how those products interact with different materials.
