Armond Aquatech Pools ONLY CANDIDATES WITH A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE WILL BE CONSIDERED. DRIVING COMPANY VEHICLES WILL BE MANDATORY; THEREFORE, A LICENSE IS REQUIRED. Job Titles: Pool Technician, Pool Maintenance, Plumber, Pool Construction, General Labor Department: Service & Construction Reports To: Service & Construction Managers Summary Armond Aquatech Pools is currently hiring for all positions in both the Service & Construction Departments. Salary Armond Aquatech Pools offers a starting salary of $15-$25/hour based on experience. For those with no experience, we start at $15/hour. Pool Technician Responsibilities • Opening/Closing pools as needed • Testing pool chemistry and applying appropriate chemicals to maintain proper water balance. • Perform electrical repairs and installation (motors, lights, pool controls etc.) • Evaluating and repairing mechanical issues with all pool equipment (heaters, filters, motors, pumps etc.) • Find and correct leaks throughout pool system. • Perform preventive maintenance, ensuring pool is safe for use and complies with mandated safety/health requirements. • Perform plumbing tasks as necessary, including installation and repair. Materials can include, but are not limited to, PVC, copper and iron. • Maintain accurate logs of all work performed. • Ensure reputation for superior service is maintained during all interactions with customers. • Additional duties as required by Service Managers. Pool Maintenance Responsibilities • Testing pool chemistry and learn to apply appropriate chemicals to maintain proper water balance (once authorized by management as Service Personnel) • Brushing and vacuuming pool, cleaning tile • Be familiar with the programming of pool controllers/timer clocks • Backwashing filters and emptying pump baskets • Remove and install winter covers -- become familiar with opening and closing procedures • Maintain accurate logs of all work performed • Ensure reputation for superior service is maintained during all interactions with customers • Additional duties as required by Service Managers Plumber Responsibilities • Assemble and install valves, pipes, fittings and plumbing fixtures. • Install mechanical equipment that can include, but is not limited to pumps, filters, heaters and cleaners. • Run electrical conduits for pool lighting fixtures. • Maintaining knowledge of safety regulations while operating equipment and working on-site. • Additional duties as required by Construction Managers. Pool Construction Responsibilities • You are expected to be familiar with the operation of power tools (ex. Compressor, jackhammer, nail gun, circular saw, laser level) • Learn to read blueprints for the layout and excavation phase • Understand fittings, pipe sizes, filtration equipment and related valves • Ability to operate 90lb jackhammers, core drills, wheelbarrows, and sledgehammers along with a pick and shovel • Maintaining knowledge of safety regulations while operating equipment and working on-site • Additional duties as required by Construction Managers. General Labor Responsibilities • MAIN RESPONSIBILITY AT THIS POINT WILL BE ASSISTING WITH THE OPENING OF POOLS • Testing pool chemistry and learn to apply appropriate chemicals to maintain proper water balance (once authorized by management as Service Personnel) • Brushing and vacuuming pool, cleaning tile • Become familiar with the programming of pool controllers/timer clocks • Maintain focus in a fast-paced, high pressure environment • Excellent communication skills
