Join our well-established, 65 year-old and growing flooring and window business. The Ideal candidate for this full-time position is reliable, detail oriented, and organized. Your primary duties will be to receives and store product, design and develop product movement and storage systems; improve operations; managing staff.
Job Description: Assist warehouse manager in all aspects of manager duties including but not limited to:
• Hiring, training, working with all warehouse employees to improve skills and work efficiently
• Assist and oversee loading and unloading of all products and making sure they are labeled and checked in properly & stored safely
• Maintain neat, orderly & clean warehouse and yard
• Oversee employees on projects and routine tasks
• Develops warehouse operations system improvements by analyzing process work flow, manning and space requirements, and equipment layout; implementing changes.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
Requirements:
• Forklift experience
• Strong attention to details
• Strong organizational skills
• Valid driver's license
• Knowledge of Building supplies (windows, doors, flooring is preferred)
• Able to work full time
