Part-Time Salesperson & Store Manager

Jobs

Myrtle Beach SC

Description

I own a furniture store in Myrtle Beach, and I’m looking for a part time salesperson & general store manager to help me run the store & close sales. This is part time for now, to come in when I’m out of town, on vacation, something come up, or working more on advertising, etc. But, I hope to eventually move you into a full time position so I can replace myself as manager. You may not go full time until 3, 6, 9 months, or even 1 year from now. All depends on you, & where I’m at with the store. You will primarily be meeting my customers in my store at different set times, so a plus is that somewhat flexible with schedule (you don’t need to just sit in the store and wait, you’re meeting customers face to face at pre-agreed upon times). Normally, meetings can go from 15min-1hr, then you’re free to do as you please until the next customer. You may not even work some days, or some days you may have 6+ meetings. This is why it’s important that you live somewhat close to my store as well, so you’re not running back and forth home so much. You may also be helping my delivery guy from time to time, and helping to unload my furniture trucks every week or so. This job is commission only, so good fit if you’re more entrepreneurial, buisness minded, and not afraid of risk. If you’re looking for a nice, steady, guaranteed, secure 9-5 paycheck every other Friday, this probably isn’t the job for you. Obviously in sales, sales fluctuate up and down. You can make a little, or a whole lot. Great months, good months, and OK months. You need to be 100% comfortable knowing this. No guarantee, but my estimation is you could make anywhere from $1k-$2k/month part time, and $3k-$5k+/month once you go more full time. Also bonuses involved for assisting with deliveries, & unloading trucks. Part-time, I’m estimating you should work no more than 20-25hrs/week, full time more like 30-35+hrs/week. Im very flexible with your payment frequency, your payment method, and your schedule as well. Guys, the biggest part of this job will come down solely to your personality. Are you warm? Friendly? Approachable? Engaging? Do people gravitate towards you, and are you generally likeable? Do people feel you are innately trustworthy, & authentic? Do you smile a lot? These are all things I’m really looking for, besides professionalism & reliability, of course. Previous sales experience a big plus. I would prefer to have a female in the store. I do not mean that in some weird, creepy, or “sexist” way, but the truth is, women like buying from women. Men like buying from women, and especially attractive women. The same way women like buying from attractive men. That’s just simple, proven business statistics. Sorry not sorry. But open to any gender/orientation/type/etc. as long as you have a magnetic personality. You will train with me at first in store on closing sales, until I feel comfortable enough with you to let you close sales on your own. So that could be 3 days or 3 weeks, it really all depends on you. I’m happy to cover your expenses during this time if I feel you’re the right fit. I do not want to have to go through dozens and dozens of interviews here. When you reply, here is a simple test to see if you can follow basic instructions: 1. Reply with your name 2. Reply with your picture 3. Reply with the phrase “Smiles for Miles” If you can’t follow those above 3 steps, I can’t consider you right off the bat. I would prefer email/text responses initially, but if you can only call that’s fine too. Looking forward to growing together! Caleb 📞 843📞910📞6211
