Job Description Basic Job Info Desert Sign Company Looking to Hire Fabricators and Installers Location CA-Coachella Valley Job Type Installer/Fabricator Base Pay Hourly position DOE. Medical and Dental available after 90 day probation period. Overtime and some weekends required. Employment Type Full-Time Job Description Local Sign Company in the Coachella Valley seeking experienced Installer. Background in the Construction Industry a plus. Will train the right candidate. Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Installer: Assist with Measure, cut and apply vinyl lettering and channel track to sign faces. Install signs on location. Remove existing decals, prepare surface and install replacements. Operates power tools such as drills, saws etc. Load, unload and transport all necessary signage and materials needed for multiple sites. May assist in lifting, positioning and securing of materials and work pieces during installation. Install site signs on posts. Perform other routine duties as directed by crew leader and project manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Fabricator: Measure, cut and fabricate channel letters and monument signs. Sheet metal bending. Aluminum welding. Operates power tools such as drills, saws etc. Load, unload and transport all necessary signage and materials needed for multiple sites. May assist in lifting, positioning and securing of materials and work pieces during fabrication. Assemble signs prior to installation. Perform other routine duties as directed by crew leader and project manager. Job Requirements Position Requirements: Assist with Vinyl Lay Down, Channel Letters, Sign Face Replacements Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record with DMV Proof Ability to do heavy lifting, prolonged standing and work at heights. Ability to operate and work from Bucket lifts Works safely and follows established safety program and guidelines Ability to work cooperatively with others Ability to follow specific directions Ability to work within standards of accuracy Must be able to communicate clearly the scope of work with customers Email resumes No phone calls please.
