Hi my name is Ashley! I am a stay at home mother of 3 and I just relocated to Cedar Rapids from Arizona. Because of the pandemic hitting last year I have had to transition into staying at home with my children which was a blessing in disguise. I have never been happier getting the opportunity to spend every day with my babies. I know there are many parents who have had trouble finding childcare for their children during this time so I’ve decided to open an in home daycare. In my care your child will receive breakfast snacks and lunches and if your work hours go into the evening they will also receive dinner. I have a nice big living room filled with toys for all ages (as my children range from 1-13 years of age) that has been sectioned off from the rest of the house to ensure they do not have access to stairs or the kitchen. I always have kids movies going in the living room usually on Disney+ so they won’t be watching anything they shouldn’t be during the day. Also I am currently getting my 5 year old prepared to start kindergarten this fall so I set aside time every day to practice numbers, alphabet, colors etc. I provide healthy meals/snacks and an open, fun, safe environment you can trust leaving your child in every day. My hours are 6 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday and I am currently accepting children 3 and up. I may be willing to work with hours outside of that I just cannot provide overnight care (I’m not set up for it). My weekly rates are: $4.00 hour for part time up to 30 hours a week or $3.50 for full time 31 hours and up.
