Medical office and surgery center in Vero Beach, Florida is in need of two full-time Environmental & Maintenance Technicians. One Day shift and one PM shift. The Environmental & Maintenance Technician performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways and other assigned areas. These include: Follows specific procedure to perform terminal cleaning of patient rooms and prepares rooms for new patients. Uses industrial cleaning agents and equipment following appropriate safety procedures. Operates mechanical floor cleaners, polishers and vacuums. Moves furniture and other objects as needed in order to ensure adequate cleaning. Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required. This position will also perform various maintenance duties and repairs on equipment and the facility as directed by the Environmental Services Manager. We are looking for two motivated and detail-oriented individuals to work together as a team to ensure our facility is clean and operating in pristine condition.
