The Groutsmith of Charlotte Cleans, Repairs and Restores residential and commercial, Grout and Tile. Currently, 90% of our work is to complete repairs to floors, showers and backsplashes, as well as, clean and color seal grout. We're looking for an experienced and qualified tile and grout technician. Attention to all the details is a must. We offer steady, 35 to 45 hour work weeks; M-F, 8-5 (occasional evening and weekends); local work with a weekly paycheck. These are full time positions that offer great pay and every day work. Benefits are not offered. Qualified applicants should have: - 2 to 3 years of solid grout and tile experience including silicone caulk - Must be able to see and complete the details - the first time. - Driver's license and reliable transportation. Company supplied vehicle is an option. - Valid SSN / TINs and ability to pass a background check-no disqualifying felonies - Good communication skills - Focus on delivering excellent customer service, and ability to handle difficult customer situations - Willing to use mobile devices, and computer/internet - Trade tools a plus but not required Core Competencies: - Attention to detail - Ability to work independently - Strong customer relations skills - Positive attitude - Effective communication skills - Willingness to work hard - Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted - Clean Driving Record (must pass background check with no issues) - Clean Criminal Background (must pass background check with no issues) Responsibilities: - Cleaning and repairing - Perform the services requested by our customers; tile and grout cleaning, repair and installation - Provide a "wow" experience to each and every customer - Be knowledgeable about the different aspects of our services - Perform all morning, evening, and on the job procedures efficiently and effectively - Responsible for maintaining the vehicle's cleanliness inside and out
