Description

Join us for another urban adventure by ATLsherpa... ATL360 is a series of (10) walking tours that will take us around the City of Atlanta. We will be exploring the ten sub-areas that make up the Atlanta BeltLine Planning Area. These excursions will be one-part guided tour; one-part group discussion and one-part celebration of Spring/Summer 2021! The last one is scheduled on the Summer Solstice. We will be stopping along the way to discuss the past, present and future of ATL. Tour participants will be encouraged to share their thoughts and stories about the Atlanta Beltline project. For example: How has the Beltline impacted you personally or professionally? How has the city changed as a result of Beltline development? How has your neighborhood changed over time? Which neighborhoods have been impacted the most so far?Which neighborhoods are likely to be impacted in the future? You will get a chance to see the current status of parks, trails and transformative developments first hand. You will also learn about and get to discuss future elements of the Beltline project such as transit and proposed developments. Logistics & ScheduleAll ten walking tours will begin at 10:00AM and last about three hours. Distances covered will range from 4 — 7 miles. Tour days will alternate between Saturday and Sunday. Most tours begin at a locally-owned coffee house or restaurant end at a brewery or restaurant, where we will gather to celebrate ATL and 2021.
