LOS ANGELES, CA — Officials were searching for a 76-year-old man in a wheelchair who went missing from Los Angles International Airport Sunday, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said in a news release.
Michael Sneed was last seen a little after 2:15 p.m. at the Terminal 4 exit to the airport.
"He suffers from kidney failure and his family is very concerned for his well being," LASD officials wrote.
Sneed, who is Black and wears glasses, was described as 5-foot, 8-inches tall, 140 pounds and has balding gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, a black shirt, gray pants and blue shoes.
Sneed also has a tattoo of "Michael" on this left shoulder.
The department urged anyone with any information regarding Sneed's whereabouts to call the sheriff's Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
