Looking for a Rhythm Section for Folk Rock summer gigging!
Hey! Thanks for taking time to look at this ad! If you find yourself reading this, you’re more than likely qualified to respond, so listen up!
I’m Drew Gill, a folk rock singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who is sick of not being able to play live, like you I’d assume. I play a mix of originals and crowd pleasing covers, and I have a few gigs booked this summer to support an album I released.
Nobody likes a guy standing on stage singing with a guitar, so I’m in need of a rhythm section to help me fill the sound out. I’m in no way a professional, nor am i looking to do this full time, so I’m in search of any people who want to jam, hang out, drink a beer or two, and play music for people. Whether you play electric, upright bass, or cello- I’m interested! If you have a knack for playing hand drums or a full kit, I’m here to listen!
Let’s get in touch and see if we click!
In short: Wanted-
A bassist/ low end string player (Bass, Upright, cello)
Drums of any kind!
Other musicians who appreciate folk, country, classic rock! (violin, keys, sitar, tambourine)
Don’t hesitate to reach out- Lets play some music
