Seeking Christian Bass Player For Heavy Rock/Metal Band

Hey, I have been drumming the last 8 years but pretty seriously the last 5 years. I'm currently jamming with a lead guitarist that brings 30 years of playing experience to the table, as well as a rhythm guitarist that has a lot of ideas for various musical content. We're forming a Christian rock/metal band, with the goal being to play live shows around town with all original music. (Cover bands? Not for us) We don't party - and we want to keep it Christian music with tasteful lyrics. No drugs, partying, drama, etc please. A few songs of myself on drums recorded in my living room can be heard at www.soulwashband.com. Obviously this would sound better professionally recorded with effects and levels adjusted, but it gives you an idea on my drumming style/level I suppose. (Recording studios make things sound so much better!) Those recordings are not with the current lead guitarist or rhythm guitarist. We're starting from scratch! (The other people I was playing with on those recordings just can't commit the time to practice due to family obligations and different work schedules, so I went out seeking other like-minded musicians!) Right now we are all clicking pretty well with fairly open schedules for practice time and we're all open-minded to new ideas being thrown around. Usually a few times a week on weekdays around 6pm we jam. Looking to advance into something a little heavier and progressive perhaps?! I'm 34 with the rhythm guitarist around the same age and the lead guitarist is a little older - but maturity is more important than age. The lead is on an 8-string and the rhythm is on a 7-string so if you're willing to detune and play some low, heavy, melodic music on the bass guitar... hit me up! We'd love to jam with you sometime.
