Looking to find a good home for a guinea pig I rescued a few weeks ago. He was found in a waterlogged cage along the susquehanna and a kind fisherman brought him in to my work (pet store) wondering what to do with him. I took him in, trimmed his horribly overgrown nails that were digging into his paw pads, and gave him a few baths to get the caked poop off of him. He also was treated for an ear infection and had a few random scabs that have since healed. He is an absolute sweetheart outside of the cage and will purr and fall asleep when you pet him. He's sat out for 2 hours while I watched a movie with no accidents! He also has had heavily supervised playdates with my two female pigs(small pigs pictured) and wheeks along with them when he hears them in another room so I think he would do great to have a cagemate! I would absolutely love to keep him but my two female piggies are enough and I don't have enough room for another custom cage. Though the goal was never to keep him, just get him cleaned up for a new home! His name is Nugget! Asking a small rehoming fee! Will come with cage, hide, water bottle, and small bag of food to switch him over if needed, he is currently on oxbow and alternating between kale and bell peppers each day. Will lean in favor of homes with current male Guinea pigs! Text or email is best, no codes!
