Hey all, I'm looking for old beaten battered skateboard decks that you no longer want and probably aren't good enough to sell, so I can send them and make him into a painting. I'm currently up in Vista using a friend's yard to work. And I'm looking to find as many as I can before I leave to Ventura on Wednesday, where I will be painting them on the pier by the beach. On that note, sometimes I paint them in Mission Beach or Ocean Beach as well! If you would like a painting done, I'd be more than happy to accommodate if you have several decks to donate. I can also refurbish anything made out of wood, most metal items (most recently I started an old trellis), paint murals on walls or fences, create tile mosaics, and more. I also have an old wooden table, an antique iron clock and some antique wooden signs that I am refurbishing. Since I do this on the side for fun (I'm actually in construction), I pretty much would only charge for material costs.
