Farm Hand / Groundskeeper / Handyman for 15-acre home and farm in a peaceful rural setting, working for a family, not a company. No farm experience necessary, but MUST love animals. Responsibilities include: Daily: -Mucking stalls -Cleaning chicken coop -Feeding animals (donkeys, chickens, barn cats, cows) -Cleaning and refilling water buckets -Sweeping barn Weekly: -Typical yardwork including mowing, edging, raking, trimming, weed-wacking, blowing off driveway and walkways -Spraying weeds -Taking garbage to the curb -Cleaning spider webs -Maintaining flower beds -Pasture maintenance -Miscellaneous supply runs to Home Depot, Tractor Supply, etc... -Cleaning exterior ceiling fans, light fixtures, security cameras -Maintaining clean organized work space -Other miscellaneous tasks as required Monthly: -Pressure washing -Cleaning gutters -Checking irrigation -Checking exterior lighting -Maintaining yard equipment Occasional: -Changing chicken coop bedding -Replacing dirt in stalls -Light chainsaw work -Light tree trimming -Light landscaping such as replacing of dead plants and bald sod patches -Mulching -Other miscellaneous yard work -Fertilizing plants -Burning yard waste Occasional light handyman work including: -Minor repairs and assembly projects -Light painting and touchups -Fence repairs Job requirements: -Reliable transportation -Able to lift up to 100 lbs. -Acceptable background check and driving record -Clean drug screen -Work performed as a sole proprietor -Non-smoker preferred Hours: M-F, 8:30a - 5:00p with 1/2 hour daily lunch break. Special consideration given to ex-military.
