Description
The NYC Council races are in a battle between our neighborhoods and big money interests. At a critical time when our communities are struggling to pay their rent, get back to work and do so safely we need representatives that care about our issues. Affordable housing, community influenced development, equitable school funding, community policing and funding are all decided on a local level. We need the right people representing us not big money interest.
We are hiring community organizers to join our campaign on a Part time or Full time basis. We win elections by engaging voters on the grassroots level, educating them on the issues, and giving them every reason to support our candidate and vote in the upcoming election. The best fits have an engaging personality, well-spoken and able to articulate the the neighborhood and candidate talking points. If you always wanted to be involved and see what it is really like to be part of a political race we would like to meet you.
Requirements
-Must be 18 years or older
-Meet all daily COVID safety requirements
-Ability to work independently
-On our feet for up to 5 hours
-Legally eligible to work in the U.S
