Description
Seeking keys with vocals to fill out our band. We are a new band, currently with bass, drums, female vox, and 1 guitar, playing a mix of covers. We are all experienced at our instruments with lots of band experience, in our 30s-50s. Looking to keep it relaxed and have fun but also sound good. Practice ~2-3 x per month, starting to look for outdoor shows for summer, ideally play a show once every month or two. All for fun, not planning on going pro.
Vocals are a must - we have a great lead singer but looking for someone to add harmonies and maybe some lead vox if you want.
Generally, we are trying to play less-covered but fun and known songs, with a mix from the 60s to new stuff. We lean towards blues but play pop, rock, maybe some punkish stuff, etc from every decade, and are open to everyone's song choices. Some examples from what we have so far:
Message in a Bottle
1979
Call Me
I Can't Quit You
Things Have Changed
Walk Away
Across the Universe
We practice in Elkins Park, PA, have pro gear and dedicated practice space. We are mostly vaccinated at this point but are still being safe and wearing masks indoors for the time being, and expect you to do the same. If you don't want to, don't bother. We are not likely to be seeking gigs at indoor crowded bars any time soon.
Video/audio of us available. If you are interested, please send some of yours.
