Start time varies between 6.30pm to 11.30pm. Workdays Vary. Responsibilities Ability and willingness to work NIGHTS A bright, positive and joyful demeanor and ability to create good relationships with colleagues, customers, and the general public. Top notch driving skills with an emphasis on safety Ability to lift, carry, pull, push and move items with a weight of 25lb or more (for example products, equipment, lift gates, truck doors) throughout a working shift, and use equipment such as pallet jacks. Driving, delivering and handing products according to customer-specific expectations Product handling is an essential part of the job - this in NOT a drive-only position. The is a local route position but you MUST be willing and able to drive routes across state lines if and when required Willingness to deliver to locked/alarmed premises, and load in refrigerated storage if necessary Consistently providing great customer service and a positive attitude Ability to work nights when assigned Ability to work away from home on temporary assignments when required (expenses paid) Willingness to follow company procedures, and laws regulated by the Department of Transportation There are NO sales/account building duties but client interaction skills essential This is a FULL TIME position - if you have another job and/or are looking for set hours please do NOT apply. Preferred Requirements Experience with delivering as well as driving - food products a distinct advantage Valid CDL B or A License with no restrictions Determination - finding a way in the event of a problem Dependability, Dependability, and Dependability! Clean, well presented and the ability to keep truck clean and tidy! Strong work ethic, motivation and ability to work alone Have dependable transportation to get to and from work Clean driving record Pass a background check (no felonies or DWI) AND drug screen Truck driving experience Have a personal cell phone at all times Driver Record You must have: No failed or refused drug or alcohol test within the last 3 years No reckless driving convictions within the last 3 years No license suspension for points within the last 3 years No more than 3 moving violations within the last 1 year No more than 4 moving violations and/or accidents within the last 3 years No felony convictions within the last 7 years No controlled substance violations within the last 7 years No DWI, DUI, BAC or open container violations within the last 3 years No incarceration within the last 5 years No misdemeanors involving dishonesty, theft or fraud – these are considered immediate, disqualifying event Paid Training If you complete your training and start work, you will be paid $144 for each day of training completed.
