Backpack Buddies presents: West Volusia County School's Out Festival! Saturday, June 5, 2021 11am-3pm. Sponsored by Volusia County! This is a day is a day for students to have some fun and celebrate summer! Bring your Eventbrite ticket and a non-perishable or canned good for admittance to the festival. There will be music, games, free popcorn, free cotton candy and free snow cones while supplies last. At noon Orange City Elementary and Manatee Cove Elementary will battle at Tug of War! All attendees must wear a mask. We will have a Mask contest for different age groups for kids and adults. Wear your funniest, scariest, or most unique mask for a prize! Take pictures with your favorite character walking around or get your face painted! FUN FUN FUN! We are striving to follow CDC guidelines during this event. We ask that you wear you mask if you are 5 and up, stay 6 ft apart at all times, and there will be sanitizing stations set up around the park. If you are sick please do not attend. Backpack Buddies is a 501C3 Non-profit organization who is hosting this event with the sponsorship of Volusia County and Orange City to hold something fun for our communities children. We are a food pantry as well as, we feed children on the weekends at two of our local schools in West Volusia.
