Looking for a medium sized dog

I'm looking for a medium sized dog, no more than 60 lbs. No chihuahua, pitbulls (against my lease), or poodles please. Just want a dog to go on daily walks with that likes to cuddle. I have a cat, so must be cat friendly/puppy. No older than 8. I live in an apartment, and am willing to pay quite a bit for a rehoming fee. Would greatly prefer a dachshund/hound/corgi mix! I can drive to you, provided you aren't too far away and at a neutral location.
