American farmers are calling out to reverse climate change.

There perhaps no people on earth that are more tuned to the environment and the weather patterns than farmers. Their lives and their livelihoods literally depend on their environment. People who live off the land under rain the dramatic changes that re occurring. Farmers are struggling to work due to unpredictable weather patterns caused by climate change. The last freeze of each season is no longer predictable so farmers have a hard time moving when to plant seeds. Predicting rain seasons are no longer predictable. Short term and long term droughts are becoming common. Sporadic weather patterns are causing soil issues. This affects the quantity and quality of crops. Having a conversation about the cause of climate change is not relevant. We do not need to agree on the cause (natural or human). We ALL know that climate is changing. We ALL know that we can reverse this change regardless of the cause. So why not do it? There is no “down side” to combatting climate change. Combatting climate change means cheaper food, fresher air, less drought, less wildfires, less hurricanes, new jobs, cleaner water, wildlife diversity and habitat which equals better hunting and fishing. This only people who protest reversing climate change fare doing so because they see global warming as a liberal issue. Global warming is a human issue. We are all affected by it. We can all be the solution. There is no reason to politicize climate change.
