So. Luther is a good boy. An amazing boy! Smart as a whip, super sweet (no aggression issues) and a huge fan of alligator-mouth wrestling, Luther is a 2-year-old, neutered and well-loved Great Dane / Weimeraner mix. He's gorgeous and a bundle of big-dog, squirrel-lusting energy — I'll never give him up! So what's the deal? It's this: He has intense exercise and constant free-range adventure yearnings I can't provide from an apartment. Granted, my apartment is right by Greenlake, and I run about six miles with him daily, take many long walks and hikes, and take him to dog parks. I really can't emphasize how great Luther is. People compliment him constantly, and random folks have asked me if they could literally have him. He just has more activity needs than any one person can provide.
