Sunny Time Stables and Horse Haven Rescue is having their 17th annual summer horsemanship camp. Come learn on rescued safe horses and meet new friends, doing what you always loved- being with the horses! From 9am-1pm, you will get to ride & groom; learn to care for a horse and learn all about keeping one. Proper feeding, care, equipment, and riding skills will be discussed. Grooming and tacking up. Followed by a horseback ride every day in the arena. Every Friday we have a horse show to show off all we have learned- lots of fun! Camp is held weekly from May 31st. through July 9th, reservations are required and space is limited. I have been working as a professional horsewomen for over 40 years with a equine college degree. Whether your maybe looking to get a horse or just learn more about them this will be a great experience for all! Camp will be kept small (due to safety from Covid)- with masks expected until riding time. Cleaning and disinfecting is done daily to keep everyone healthy.
