Drummer wanted - starting original band - let's get pandemic revenge

After losing way too much time, things are starting to open back up. All of those things you said you would do when this sh was over, now is the time. We all missed live music. We all missed playing in a band and hanging with our friends. I'm over 40. Music has always been more than a hobby but less than revenue generating. There was a time it came close to being a shot at a "career" but I chose stability and a high paying job instead. But now I have the money for whatever equipment, studio time, practice space, etc that I want. I'm putting together a band. Start with existing material I have recorded and go from there. It's more singer-songwriter because I wrote it without a band, but I'm open to getting heavier with it too. Please don't suck. Please don't be a casual weekend warrior who shows up to "jam" not knowing any of the material. Time is short. Life is short. Send me a clip of your playing and I'll send some stuff back. If you don't have one... you have a phone that records video, right? Record yourself playing something. It's like dating, I can tell in a few bars if you play like you mean it. If the above doesn't describe you, no offense. Everybody is in it for different reasons, and this is not meant to disparage the casual player. Go have fun.
