Looking for jazz plaers

Description

I'm an experienced and relatively serious jazz bass player (upright, fretless, 6-string). Recently left my long time band in northern california due to move (this last week) here to the Fort Collins area. Looking to play music from casual jam sessions to building a band. Like to play everything from bebop to funk, fusion, latin and even contemporary jazz (audiences love the modern stuff). Music I love to play out of various real books includes: - Jobim - Pat Metheny - Wayne Shorter - Andy Norrel - Jeff Lorber - Grover Washington - Chick Corea - Herbie Hancock - Jimmy Van-Heusen - Steve Swallow - Keith Jarrett - Lee Ritenour - Tadd Dameron - Luiz Bonfa - Clare Fischer - Cole Porter - Yellow Jackets - Spyro Gyro - Miles also love to play originals and more challenging arrangement stuff like Return to Forever, Funky Knuckles, Snarky Puppy or Breckers Happy to play duos with single guitar/piano to piano trio to full 4, 5 or more ensemble with sax, trumpet and percussion (oo can we do some Pancho Sanchez?). Prior to Covid our band in California was playing a couple of times a month and we had produced 4 CDs. Happy to share any recordings as well. So, if you're a relatively serious player but not necessarily full-time pro and play a horn, flute, piano, guitar, drums, etc. and are competent at playing jazz, drop me a know and lets chat or even do some playing. Eventually would love to form up a pretty consistent set of players to start gigging as things open up. BTW, I've had both Covid shots...
