Description
Disabled Watertown resident needs a part-time driver, who has a vehicle, to drive her to appointments during the day. She has mild physical limitations, is not in a wheelchair, and can walk but can’t drive. You would really be making a difference! In terms of coronavirus, this is a relatively low risk job. If this works out, you would have the opportunity to get vaccinated soon, since you would be a PCA/ healthcare worker.
The pay is $15.75 - $16.75/ hr., based on experience, plus gas. This is available now and is not under the table (it's paid by business check). A typical shift is 3 - 5 hours, e.g. 10:00 - 2:30 and it is not unusual to end at 5. She could use help Monday through Saturday (especially Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday), all daytime hours, approximately 10 - 15 hours /week. It's fine if you can only work one day shift a week. She doesn't have a car, so we'd use yours - preferably a sedan car or SUV (not a truck).
