Cleanup at Hayner's Creek in Savannah - Socially Distanced. Kayakers and Canoes welcome. We'll pick up trash along the creek at high tide. This event organized by Asbury Memorial Church's Green Team. Please Register if you are attending so you can receive email notifications as the event details shape up. We'll have a waiver of liability for you to sign when you arrive at the event. We will have large trash bags and grabber sticks thanks to City of Savannah. We will have a skiff pick up full bags from your kayak or canoe and take the bags back to the boat launch at this address. I'm not positive we have a skiff signed up yet, so if you're volunteering one let us know in your RSVP and we'll confirm with you if it's needed. Bring water, sunscreen, bug spray. You don't have to wear a mask on the water, but for consideration of others please wear a mask when in close proximity to others.
