Press release from the City of Carlsbad: April 1, 2021 The City of Carlsbad presents a new exhibition at William D. Cannon Art Gallery, Material Pulses: Seven Viewpoints, focused on the art of quilt-making. The exhibition opens April 6 and continues through May 23 and features 17 works by seven fiber artists: Mary Lou Alexander, Claire Benn, Elizabeth Brandt, Christine Mauersberger, Denise L Roberts, Jayne Willoughby and Barb Wills. At a Glance Cannon Art Gallery is located in the Carlsbad City Library complex at 1775 Dove Lane. Admission is free. For hours of operation, please visit our website or call. Cannon Art Gallery will be following safety protocols with limited occupancy. Curated by internationally renowned artist and teacher Nancy Crow.
