A little about them, their life span is 10-12 years will range between 55-65 pounds full grown best suited for active families with kids and other pets, experienced dog owners, those looking for a watchdog. They’re affectionate, loyal, playful, active and eager-to-please. Together, the personalities of these two breeds make for a wonderful four-legged family member that gets along well with kids and, in spite of the high prey drive of the Coonhound, with cats and other pets when socialized – though the urge to chase may present from time to time. Overall, this dog thrives on human interaction and considers himself an integral part of his family. The Redbone Retriever comes from two highly intelligent breeds that are quick to pick up and obey commands. I’m expecting brindle, black & black with red paws. Highly doubt I’ll have reds based off her last litter.
