East N County Guitarists looking for roots/dance rock band bass player

Not so much “classic rock,” as swinging, unadorned tunes from the 60s/70s that set your toes unconsciously tapping. We’re talking about a bare-bones bar band. Think Joe Cocker’s Grease Band, Tom Petty’s Heartbreakers, or Los Lobos. I played for years in pop and blues/rock bands in DC -- never professionally, I always had a day job. Looking still to play for fun – practice once a week, play out a couple of times a month. No aspirations to “make it.” I have a friend who plays guitar and does vocals, and we’re looking to hook up with a bassist (who can hopefully share vocals) to put some sets together, and then pull in a drummer. We’re vaccinated, have practice space, and a complete PA setup.
