At Least Five Injured In Early Morning Temerson Square Shooting

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Police Department says at least five people were injured when shots were fired in the parking lot and outside of Roxy's in Temerson Square around 2:47 a.m. Saturday morning. A video circulating on social media shows the moment the shooting broke out. At one point, someone can be seen exiting a white vehicle before leveling a long gun or rifle and firing numerous rounds toward the bar. Those injured were transported to DCH Regional Medical Center for treatment, with some being taken by private vehicle. TPD said the extent of their injuries is unknown at this time. Multiple suspects have reportedly been detained and were still being questioned as of 5 a.m. The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit responded and has assumed the investigation.
