Japanese Quail pair

Description

We have a pair of Japanese (jumbo cortunix) Quail, male and female. They are free to a good home. We hatched them in June 2020 and they've been raised indoors. They've spent some time outside in a pen and would probably be best in the outdoors. We chose to keep them inside, but no longer have the time/space to keep them. We hope to find someone with a small quail flock or hobby farm who would like the pair and would keep them in a healthy place for the remainder of their lives. They were hand raised and are tame. They don't mind being handled and are not afraid of us. The female, Beckie, is a good layer and gives us an egg each day without fail. The male, Chirpy, is a cheerful fellow. From time to time, he'll give a brief crow. Since we have limited space inside, we keep them separate, but they like being close to each other. We have some supplies, food and pine bedding, that are included with the quail.
