Looking for a band to join

I am a mid thirties laid back dude looking for an original band to join. I am fairly versatile when it comes to music. I can shred a guitfiddle and a bass like wheat, and my vox can sooth the devil's soul or enrage a saint. I can also program and run midi and modular synths. Kind of a dork when it comes to computer based music. I have all my own gear; guitars, bass, amps, pedals, mics, etc. ("pro gear", if you're trying to be a douche canoe). I am also a professional theatre and recording sound engineer. My writing and musical influences are drawn from a wide range so I can pretty much play anything. I would prefer no cover or country bands.
