Marco has been here waiting for his forever home for 2 months and every day he watches to see if his forever person will come for him. Marco is truly a wonderful dog and so deserving of a home and people to love him. Marco is stunning! His smile will light up a room and his gentle loving personality will win anyone over in seconds. Marco has that 'Shepherd' personality in that his people will be the most important thing to him. He has the best eye contact, can be a little cautious meeting new people, but once he knows you he will never forget you. Marco isn't always sure what it is you want, but if you show him what to do, he will always do the right thing and make you proud. We hope Marco can find those Shepherd loving people who can give him the life he needs and deserves. Marco shows signs of walking abnormally in his hind limbs, likely due to a historical lesion affecting his lumbar spine. Marco can be taken for short leash walks but likely cannot endure long hikes or more strenuous activities. He is an active dog who will need shorter spurts of activity and fun games to play to keep his mind busy. He is truly a fun dog and would love to have an owner who may not want to do long hikes but would rather do short activities and come up with fun and innovative games to play.
