Central Texas Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Hospital is a 24/7 multi-referral practice, locally owned and operated, caring for pets in the Greater Austin Area for over 20 years! We are actively looking for a candidate to fill a part-time kennel tech position at our Round Rock hospital. The main focus of this position is janitorial / housekeeping duties/ monitoring dogs and cat in the kennels. No experience required! This position is a great way to gain experience in the veterinary field! Position responsibilities: - cleaning up after animals - dusting - cleaning the floors - collecting and taking out the trash - laundry (Lots!) - cleaning patient kennels and kennel mats - maintenance of the facility and bathrooms - accepting deliveries - cleaning up the yard and parking lot - other janitorial and house cleaning duties Position Requirements: Part-Time Round Rock Position - 20 hours per week - Shifts are Thursday, Friday, Saturday 3:30pm - 10pm The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the primary function of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to bend, stand, stoop, walk, sit; will reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
