What prophecies about Messiah did Jesus of Nazareth not fulfill before his death by crucifixion? What did disciples of Jesus believe about his identity? What was taught and believed by early followers of Jesus in first century A.D.? Why did Jesus call himself, "Son of Man"? Why did John the Baptist call him, "The Lamb of God"? What Old Testament Scriptures were Jesus and John the Baptist referring to when they used these titles? What other names or Titles has Jesus of Nazareth been called? The study will examine scriptures in the Torah or Pentateuch (first four books in OT), Psalms of David, and material in the Prophetic books. Review the evidence for Jesus of Nazareth as Messiah and arguments against Jesus of Nazareth as Messiah.
