Shall I dine upon your soul Sink my teeth Deep beneath All that you imagine you hold Drawing it in Every Bliss and Sin Feasting upon your want and lack Run my sharpened nails down your devastated back You fear me and my lack of reflection Leaving only your own designs in mirror for collection Thinking yet that you might crave what I BE Yet only the fire that burns from within, will ever set you free You imagine a never ending ego’s form Yet in true immortality, the body is dropped as clothes on the floor Ever changing ever the same I am known by many names So my dear and startled friends When you realize there is nothing to win When left alone and screaming silently Know I stand in lucidity, with thee Waiting for you to remember again But understand this, for it is true I stand knocking on the door of your heart to be let in But will only enter with your invitation Bringing first darkness before salvation
