Job Description This position is accountable for performing daily janitorial duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Ensuring the Association grounds, buildings, and recreational areas are free of debris, hazards and should be safe, clean, and attractive. Reviewing daily set up schedule and break down rooms as required. Locking up and putting away vehicles at the end of the shift. Ensuring buildings are secure at the end of the night, setting alarms and locking doors. Answer radio calls and assist residents as needed. Replenishes bathroom supplies as necessary. Performs exterior building cleaning and minor repairs, as assigned. Must be knowledgeable of and carry out Association Policies and Procedures including all safety procedures. Fills in for any member of the departmental staff as required. Carries out any and all other tasks as assigned by the Facilities Manager. Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs and able to remain on feet for extended periods of time. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Valid Florida Drivers License. May be required to become certified in CPR and AED procedures by Red Cross or Fire Department instructors.
