Description
I'm rehoming my blue tongue skink. He is about 4 years old and I named him Leo. I am hoping to find Leo a new owner that will take great care of him like I have. At this time in my life I have too many responsibilities and that's the reason I would like to re-home him.
Things to know about Blue-tongued skinks:. They are ground dwellers and like to stay inside of there little dwellings or they dig little holes to sleep in. They also enjoy their habitat and will climb around rocks and branches. Leo likes sleeping most of the time but on occasion he likes climbing and walking around.
Skinks have a flattened and elongated body with 4 legs and they resemble a snake in appearance. Leo is about the length of my forearm. He is docile, quiet, gentle, and easily tamed, which is why they make great beginner pets. As far as food it's recommended to give them small amounts of wet dog food, fruits and vegetables a couple times a week.
If you're interested, please contact me and I will be happy to answer questions. Since I want to make sure he goes to a good home I will re-home him for a small fee of $40. Leo comes with his terrarium, rocks and feeding bowls.
