Housekeeper/Home Helper Active family in San Juan Capistrano with 5 kids ranging in age from newborn to 14 years old, 2 large dogs and 2 rabbits seeks to add an early morning helper to the home. Looking to start as soon as April 15. Initial desired work schedule will be Tuesday – Friday, 1 -7pm, and Saturdays 10am-6pm, averaging 30-35 hours per week. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Housekeeping: All aspects of general housekeeping, including deep cleaning, and upkeep of the residence, dusting, and vacuuming. Complete detailed cleaning projects on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. • Laundry: Completing the family’s laundry including washing, ironing, and steaming of clothes and sheets, familiarity with general clothing care. • Light cooking skills. Comfortable in the kitchen. Willing and able to take direction in the kitchen or follow a simple recipe to prepare meals or snacks. • Errands Willingness to run routine errands such as dry cleaners, groceries, or drop off a child at a locally based activity when needed • Additional duties upon request Requirements: • Confident, but quiet, behind-the-scenes team player • Self-motivated and self-starter • Thorough knowledge of deep household cleaning, laundry, and organization • Polished, poised, and professional in both mindset and manner; use of utmost discretion and confidentiality at all times • Ability to clean around the principals in a manner, in which does not interfere with their daily life. • Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; willing and able to take direction well • Able to perform repetitive tasks and meet the required standard every time. • Ability to work both independently and as a team • Flexibility in scheduling with the willingness to work additional hours as needed (once in a while) • Good command of English language • Experience caring for infants • Able to swim in a pool (should an emergency arise) • CPR Certified preferred but not required • Large Dog and rabbit friendly Compensation depends on experience. $25-30 per hour.
