She is very active and enjoys her freedom. She is an independent gal and lives adventures. We named Appy "Happy Appy" due to her always seeming to be happy and curious about the world around her! Once she trusts you she will tend to sit on your shoulders to fall asleep and/or preen herself. Rigby is a Kakariki, these birds are native to New Zealand endangered in the wild though there are thousands upon thousands in captivity and as pets. They are most known for their sassy and bad attitudes as many aren't very nice. Many people do not know how to raise kakariki's which result in the birds being mean or very self-isolated as they get older. I personally am a bird trainer and I've been working with birds for 9 years, I have raised her since the baby and she is very sweet and she will continue staying sweet as long as people interact with her. She can wear harness and she enjoys going on bike rides and long walks. She is currently on Roudybush pellet diet as well as eating fruits and vegetables daily. Seeds are very unheathy for birds and cause a lot of issues so seeds are not okay in her diet. She does not talk and she is very quiet though she can be chatty sometimes she is not loud. Do not ever get a bird and only want them because you are expecting them to talk.
