Guitarist, keyboard player, and drummer in their 50s are seeking a bass player to complete the sound for our combo. We're looking for someone in our age bracket (roughly 45-60) with at least some modest experience and chops - vocals are a big plus too. You don't have to be "pro-level" or have "pro-level equipment." All we ask is that you be open-minded about material and willing to learn new things in what we hope will be a fun, relaxed setting. Our musical interests are eclectic and all over the place, although we have a preference for rock'n'roll and soul/R'n'B tunes, including the road less traveled. WE CAN'T EMPHASIZE ENOUGH that this is NOT a "classic rock ONLY" project. Having said that, you will have a say in what we do. We currently have a regular bi-monthly gig and schedule practices every other week or so to work on material. We're looking for someone local to us (Bergen County) because there's no point in long-distance travel for something like this. But this is an opportunity for someone whose bass skills may still be in development to develop them further in a low-pressure environment.
